Term.4 Start and Inquiry-"Whats it Worth"
The term has started flat out in M2. We have done alot of discussion about our Inquiry and what it really means. Alot of questions and discussion has taken place and our teacher set up a Wolveslair for us to participate in. We started with a thinking of an innovative idea that was different from other products and designing them on paper and eventually on cardboard. We had to work through a business plan outlining our product, target market, our competition, and the possible strengths and weaknesses of our product. On a planned day we went and pitched our practice product proposals to a WolvesLair panel. On the panel was our Principal Mr Sutton, Mrs Campbell, and a senior student, Gus. They gave us some valuable feedback about carefull research, advertising, and costs and profits. With these valuable ideas our next steps are to market research for a viable product that will sell in the school market fair and to advertise our products effectively.
What do you think of one of the Wolves...Mr Sutton

Science Fair
Wow it was great all the class displays and the entries. We spent alot of time in our writing creating an information report and using the GPS.. Gather, Plan, Share process to achieve what we did. Along the way we focussed alot on the writing process to create our reports. Based on "How Stuff Works" there were such questions like; How does an Elevator Work..How does a Crane Work..How does a Camera Work..and How does a Clock Work to name a few. Our finished items were all presented on powerpoints which were entered in the Science Fair.

Homework/ How does a bike work
I bike has parts like pulley, lever and a gear.
If we did not have the parts of the bike.
we would not be able to ride our bike.
so we need the pulley the lever and the gear
to ride our bikes
